Written for the Peter Jackson film epic of Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings: the Fellowship of the Ring" the song "May it be" is written in both English and the Elvish language, Quenya.
Quenya means "speech" and was known as the "Forbidden language" or "the language of the kinslayers". It was a language used primarly in ancient song and ceremony and in the language of lore. "May it be" or "Nai" in Quenya, is usually used by the Elves to express a wish.
